Article name –  How to lead change

The perception of this article is that there are three simple steps to take in order to lead change in an organization. They are identifying the need for change, leading change and managing change. A leader will need recognize when the company needs to change any aspect in the firm, understanding of how he should go about leading and making sure that the process is going according to plan and that key individuals are maintaining their role in change ,if he unable to do so, then he cannot lead change.
After reading this article my perception formed is that indeed a leader of change will have to be aware when change needs to be taken and follow the precautious steps involve. However, I disagree with the writer that it’s only three simple steps in order to lead change. In addition to leading an individual will need to have the confidence, knowledge, wisdom and ability to lead. Making changes require careful thinking because it decisions that can make the company grow or set the company up for failure. The leader will need to be judgmental when idea are brought to his attention for the changing process in that he need to decline the ones that he thinks won’t make sense and be confident when choosing. Thus leading change is not an easy task if an individual don’t hold these qualities.
